For our first official site free play we turn to OKC Thunder @ Phoenix Suns. The Suns are coming off a huge 29-point win over the Dallas Mavericks, however I see no reason to not take the best ATS road team this year. Educated NBA bettors know the Thunder have been phenomenal Against the spread this year at 33-16. They are also an astounding 19-5 ATS on the road this season. While many are expecting a regression, the Thunder continue to dominate ATS going 6-1 the last two weeks. The Suns have gone 10-14-1 ATS at home this year including dropping their last 2. Looking past ATS trends, the Thunder sit 7th in the Western Conference and they have won 6 of their last 7 outright while outscoring their opponents by 72 points in this stretch (+10.3 avg.). They've also outplayed the spread by the same 72 point margin. With Aron Baynes, Frank Kaminsky and Cameron Johnson all out for the Suns the injury news also sides with OKC. Phoenix is only 9-16 Straight Up at home this year, so I see no reason to shy away from the Thunder in this spot.
